Phillcreations YouTube Channel all began back in 2015 with the first two short train videos uploaded by Philden Model Railway founder Phillip Overton. Today it produces a mix of creative and explorative short films including Australian railway highlights along with being the home of all the past Philden Model Railway videos produced by Philden TV.

This series brings all the fun of the beach to a model railway layout. All seriousness is left aside as we kick back to simply watch some model railway shunting action accompanied by the shrill cries of seagulls and the noisy patrons from the nearby Jetty Hotel. Prior to a huge layout rebuild in 2023, Philden Street Yard was a fictional HO scale layout set in industrial inner-Melbourne around the turn of the Millenium. Throughout lockdowns during the Pandemic, model train exhibitions were impossible to plan. So, these YouTube videos became the only way to showcase 'The Yard' in all its glory. Look closely, and you'll see that the track plan and general structures on Philden Street Yard haven't changed between this layout and Philden Beach. Each of the below thumbnails will open the accompanying short video on YouTube.

In mid-2024, Phillcreations media acquired the online content of The Philden Model Railway Blog and Philden TV, and successfully merged these videos into their Phillcreations YouTube channel.
